Facilities
The castle benefits from central heating in the bedrooms and bathrooms. There is a wood burning stove in the Great Hall, for which an initial supply of logs is provided, as well as portable oil filled radiators around the building to maintain a modern temperature. Housekeeper is available nearby for any emergencies and to supply logs.
Free Wi-Fi is provided, with the hub situated in the Great Hall. The castle has very thick walls and the Wi-Fi may not reach all corners. There is ample parking for 3 or 4 cars.
Due to the unique and historic nature of the building, with two steep and winding stone stairs to the bedrooms, it is not suitable for those with mobility problems or wheelchair users. Young children should be supervised on the stairs.
