Things to do in the Highlands

There is a wide range of things to see and do during your stay at Muckrach Castle in the picturesque Highlands of Scotland.  We have mentioned a few below and included some useful links for further information.

Cycling

Walking

Golf

Skiing

Fishing

Cairngorms National Park

Days Out

Muckrach Castle is ideally located to take advantage of many activities.  During the summer months there are often local Highland Games taking place which are a must for an enjoyable day to remember.

Visitor Centres

Museums and Galleries

Highland Wildlife Park

Local restaurants  

There are several restaurants within close proximity to Muckrach Castle.  Including the Muckrach Country House Hotel, a Victorian Shooting Lodge with Coffee Shop, Restaurant, Bar & Terrace.  Open from Breakfast through to Dinner 7 days a week, with menus created by passionate Chefs using the best ingredients from Scotland's larder. There are also several lovely coffee shops, family restaurants and bars available in Grantown-on-Spey (approximately 3 miles from Muckrach Castle).
